The Tequisquiapan International Art, Cheese, and Wine Festival will celebrate its 50th anniversary from May 7 to 24, 2026, with free activities at various venues throughout the municipality of Tequisquiapan, Querétaro.
Every year, the Cheese and Wine Festival brings together domestic producers and international exhibitors in Tequisquiapan for three weekends, making it one of Querétaro’s premier culinary and cultural events. This year, 31 wineries from Querétaro, Guanajuato, and Aguascalientes, as well as from Spain and Portugal, will be participating.
It will take place from noon to 10 p.m. at venues such as Plaza Miguel Hidalgo, Parque La Pila, Callejón del Piojo, Jardín del Arte, and Plaza Santa Cecilia.
Tequisquiapan, located in the heart of the Cheese and Wine Route, is considered one of the state’s top tourist destinations and expects a large number of visitors during the festival.
